Dr Noorzaman Rashid has been identified as one of the top 100 most influential Asians in the country. He is best recognised as a prolific head-hunter, recruiting over 400 Chairmen, NEDs and Chief Executives over the last 10 years. He is also known as a philanthropist and social entrepreneur and is a founder and Chairman of E-ACT, the fastest growing multiple sponsor of City Academies. His wide portfolio of non-executive roles include Chairman of the NHS Institute for Innovations Worldwide business, Board member of UK Savers - a social enterprise aiming to create Credit Unions - and Board Adviser to the National Youth Orchestra GB. He has worked in South Africa, America, Japan and Russia on a wide range of Governance and transformation programmes and is an active member of the Professional Development Committee of the Worshipful Company of Management Consultants and a Freeman of the City of London. Dr Rashid became a patron for Futureversity in 2011.
