FutureVersity believes all young people should have the opportunity to realise their potential. We provide free courses and activities for 11-25 year olds to help them develop the skills and self-belief they need to make the most of their lives.

 

How we collect your information

We obtain information about you when you use our website, register for a course, or express interest about our products and services, to make a donation, or if you opt in to to receive one of our newsletters.


Your personal information will only be used to process your requests, to provide you with our services, and to provide you with information relating to our services and other related services which we think will be of interest.

Under 16s   Ensuring the protection of the privacy of children aged 16 or under is a primary area of concern to us. If you are aged 16 or under‚ please get your parent/guardians permission beforehand and whenever you provide us with personal information.

The type of information we collect                                                        The personal information we collect might include your name, address, email address, IP address, and information regarding the events, activities and services you expressed an interest in throughout our web pages, emails, campaigns or in person.

How is your information used

We will only require you to provide us with the personal information appropriate for us to complete specific tasks. For example, when you book a course we require you to provide us with sufficient personal information so that we may process your request, so that we may contact you in the event of a problem, or to draw your attention to related goods or services.

  • process a donation that you have made
  • process orders that you have submitted;

  • seek your views or comments on the services we provide;

  • notify you of changes to our services;
  • send you communications which you have requested and that may be of interest to you.

We are legally required to hold some types of information to fulfil our statutory obligations (for example the collection of Gift Aid). If you do not want to receive direct marketing communications from us about the vital work we do for young people and our exciting products and services, then you can select your choices by ticking the relevant boxes situated on the form on which

We will not contact you for marketing purposes by email, phone or text message unless you have given your prior consent. We will not contact you for marketing purposes by post if you have indicated that you do not wish to be contacted. When you give us personal information, we take steps to ensure that it’s treated securely.

Once we receive your information, we make our best effort to ensure its security on our systems.
